Why would you think that enclosing confetti in business correspondence (even a thank you note) is acceptable? It may be cute when you enclose it, but it certainly isn’t cute when it bursts out all over my desk/outfit/floor and I have to clean it up. I’ve had business associates do this to me–once they do, I never open their mail again.
Hi Marie! You make a great point. My contacts seem to enjoy it based on their feedback, but since my motto is “it’s all about the audience,” I will have to take special care not to confetti-shock those who may not find it exciting!
